Site should be within a 75 mile radius of midtown Manhattan, New York City
SLEEPING ROOMS:
None.
MEETING ROOM SPECIFICATIONS:
General session for 200-300 (theater style). Two auxiliary meeting rooms for 150-250 each (also theater style).
Additional space (ballroom) to accommodate 60-100 six foot tables (for interviewing), and an adequate registration area.
AUDIO/VISUAL:
Three microphones, two telephone lines and two VCR/Monitors.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE:

Atlanta, Georgia The
Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in downtown Atlanta has completed the
addition of a $10 million Conference Center. The new facility
offers 33,000 square feet of function space, which includes
a 15,000-square-foot ballroom, bringing the hotel’s
meeting space to 83,000 square feet. This addition follows
$35 million in enhancements at the hotel over the last three
years, which included remodeling the hotel’s 760 rooms

 MOHAMED
SOUSSAN
has rejoined Rotana Hotels as Director of Sales & Marketing
and will be based in chain's Kuwait office working with the
sales teams of the Rotana properties in the Middle East and
GCC. Born in Lebanon, he has lived most of his life in the
United Arab Emirates. A hotel management graduate, his career
began in 1992 with a five-star hotel chain in Abu Dhabi, progressing
through banqueting, food & beverage, to sales. In 1995
he worked with the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers in Abu
Dhabi as Assistant Director of Sales and began setting up
the Area Sales Office of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, taking charge
of sales effort for five Rotana properties. Soussan was promoted
to Area Director of Sales before moving on to another five-star
resort chain in Al Ain as Director of Sales & Marketing
in 2001, where he stayed for three years.

 JEAN-JACQUES
PERGANT,
a president of WHM, will be responsible for all operations
of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, effective immediately.
Pergant comes most recently from The Savoy Group in London,
where he worked for ten years and was Senior Vice President
overseeing operations of the entire company. Previously, he
worked with RockResorts based in the United Kingdom and served
as Managing Director for Hanbury Manor. His career also includes
seventeen years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. |
 JOSEPHE
BERGER,
a president of WHM, will be responsible for the overseeing
the operation of the Hyatt Pier 66,
the Radisson Bahia Mar Beach Resort
and Grande Oaks Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale and The Registry
Resort & Club,
Edgewater Beach Hotel & Club
and Naples Grande Golf Club
in Naples. Berger comes most recently from the Westin Saint
Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California, where he served
as General Manager for five years. Previously, he was Area
Managing Director for Westin Hotels in the northeast and prior
to joining Westin he served as General Manager of the historic
William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 ROBERT
BARKER
has been appointed General Manager of Park Hyatt Tokyo. Barker,
a graduate of the Blackpool Hotel School in the United Kingdom,
consolidated his studies with management assignments with
Hilton in Belgium, Venezuela, Malaysia, Philippines, Korea
and the People's Republic of China. He joined Hyatt International's
Asia Pacific Divisional Office in February 1995, and after
successfully completing his familiarization program, was appointed
Resident Manager of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in June 1995. In
July 1997, Barker was appointed General Manager of Hyatt Regency
Osaka, and in February 2001 to his most recent position of
General Manager of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. |
 SIMEON
OLLE
his been appointed General Manager of Park Hyatt Seoul which
is scheduled to open in March, 2005. Olle joined the Rooms
Team of Grand Hyatt Melbourne in September 1986, and held
various management positions in Melbourne and Coolum before
being appointed Director of Rooms for Hyatt Regency Adelaide
in February 1995. In March 1997, he was promoted to Executive
Assistant Rooms Manager for Hyatt Regency Santiago, and held
subsequent positions as Resident Manager for the Grand Hyatt
Erawan Bangkok and the Grand Hyatt Beijing. |

RENOVATIONS
|
 The
255-suite EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL in Lincoln,
Nebraska, will undergo a $3 million renovation of the property's
lobby and the bedding package. Located adjacent to the University
of Nebraska and considered the most upscale hotel in the area,
it has 20,000 square feet of meeting space, high-speed Internet
access, a complimentary business center, and an oversized
indoor pool. Guests can enjoy the restaurant and lounge, as
well as full cooked-to-order breakfast during their stay.
